A few days before we announce the open call for performances at Akropoditi Dancefest 2027, let’s look back on the moments, encounters, conversations, movements, gestures, dance and contact of Akropoditi Dancefest 2026.

It was perhaps one of the most meaningful festivals we have shared: the organising team, the artists and companies we hosted, and everyone who took part, last July on Syros. Through every action, large and small, every workshop and every performance, we shared precious experiences and felt the world from many different perspectives. This gave us the chance to look again, to reflect, and to dive deeper into two vital ideas: inclusion and accessibility for everyone.

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who joined us on this ten-day summer journey.
