Vivi Kappa

Vivi Kappa holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Panteion University and an MSc from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at Democritus University of Thrace, with a specialization in Dance, She is a group facilitator and a trainee dance therapist specializing in the method of Dance-Rhythm Therapy through the technique of Primitive Expression. In 2003, she began studying African percussion and African dance. She has attended intensive courses and seminars on African and Afro-Brazilian dance with teachers in Greece, Guinea (West Africa), and Mexico. Since 2009, she has been teaching African dance classes and workshops to adults and children of all ages. Since 2000, she has been a performer and facilitator (street theater, theatrical performances, stilts, creative theater games, fire dance) and has participated in numerous music, dance, and theater groups in Greece and Mexico. She has worked at reception centers for unaccompanied minors and young asylum seekers (ages 18–22) run by the NGO PRAKSIS on Lesbos and in Athens, serving as a counselor and social worker to provide psychosocial support. Since 2024, she has been collaborating with the non-profit organization “The Angels of Joy” as a facilitator in psychoeducational programs.
