Following the vocal and movement improvisation classes that took place last year, we are moving into a new cycle of meetings, expanding upon the research that has already begun.

Every voice is a world. Every movement is a breath of creation.

In these sessions, we do not learn how to sing, nor how to dance. We explore how we can allow the raw, spontaneous material of voice and movement to emerge and transform into creation.

With the voice as our primary instrument and the body as a field of sound, we will enter the world of improvisation, where sound and movement are born in the very moment they occur.

We listen, respond, play. We allow sound and movement to encounter us, inventing and awaiting the surprise of something new, while letting go, for a while, of our habits and familiar forms. We seek presence, authenticity, and the possibility of creation in the present moment.
