Aerial yoga workshop lasting 4 hours over 2 days, designed to offer you a complete experience of the fundamental principles and techniques of aerial yoga. During the workshop, you will become familiar with the hammock, grips, and supports. Through practical experience, you will discover the numerous benefits of aerial yoga. There will be an introduction to safe and effective inversion techniques that decompress the spine and poses in the hammock that improve balance and concentration.
Movements in the air enhance blood circulation and provide a sense of upliftment while simultaneously reducing stress. You will then discover how poses can be combined into a flow, creating harmonious sequences and transitions, allowing you to experience the joy of movement and the sense of freedom that the hammock provides.
Each practice concludes with relaxation, giving you the opportunity to enjoy tranquility and inner peace. Join us to discover aerial yoga and boost your confidence by learning to trust your body and its capabilities.
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
Danai Psomodoti
She was born in Athens in 1989 and now permanently resides in Syros. From a young age, she expressed herself through her body and spent many years practicing ballet and modern dance. Yoga came into her life later, and she immediately fell in love with it. She then dedicated herself intensively to aerial yoga and delved into meditation and guided visualization, creating her own material for her classes.
After the birth of her daughter, she decided to follow her passion and pursue teacher training in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga (200 hours) under the guidance of her teacher, Evi Tassa, at Sahadeva Yoga Studio. In addition, she has trained as a teacher in various yoga styles, including aerial yoga, prenatal and postnatal yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga. She considers continuous education an essential element of her personal and professional growth, keeping her approach fresh and inspired.
Through her classes, she aims to share her love for yoga, guiding her students to embrace and accept themselves, providing an opportunity for empowerment and connection with the present moment. With the principles of yoga as her axis, each student can discover the best aspects of themselves and be inspired to feel gratitude for life.
