This study was made with the aim to inspire other dance professionals in Greece to start creating similar groups as Kinitiras Omega company in order for community dance work to develop in our country.
It is a study that was made during the quarantine period and was informed by the work of seven other performance professionals from Greece and Europe who have experience in the same field. (Patricia Apergi, Stella Howard, Emily Jenkins, Panagiota Kallimani, Georgia Mavragani, Nοnne Mai Svalholm, Lisa Thomas.)
During the lecture there are going to be moments of sharing from the workshop “Continuous Interruptions” instructed by Antigone Gyra and Aliki Avdelopoulou in the 9th International Dance and Performing Arts Festival Akropoditi DanceFest 2022.
