Experiential workshop in Dance Movement Therapy
In what ways can movement/dance bring us closer to our body, our history, our experience, our embodied existence? Dance Movement Therapy focuses on movement as a non-verbal expression of all that is happening within.
In this workshop the participants will be guided through simple movements/ improvisational dance back to their bodies in order to discover the hidden memories and to unite the past with the present.

Νina Alcalay is a Dance teacher/ Dance theorist/Dance Therapist GDTR Senior with a master’s degree in Dance Studies from Laban Centre, City University, London.
As a Dance Movement Therapist, she has collaborated with institutions such as the state drug rehabilitation program for women (2011-2020) and the state association for the psychosocial rehabilitation. She has served in the Board of the European Association of Dance Movement Therapy (EADMT), as well as in the Board of the Greek Association of Dance Therapy. Since 2012 she is member of the educational team of the Greek Association of Dance Therapy.
