Floating – Giovanni Leone and Vittoria Franchina

Our main interest lies in the possibility to develop a full body awareness.
Through exercises and research tasks, we would like to study the mechanics of our organism to create a movement that can constantly transform itself.
The workshop will focus on the study of weight, the isolation of body parts and some floorwork, along with improvisation and partnering sections.

Vittoria Franchina

Born in Milan in 1994, she trained professionally at the Susanna Beltrami / Dancehaus Academy. She danced in productions by Susanna Beltrami, Matteo Bittante, Virginia Spallarossa and Diego Tortelli. She is currently a dancer with the Déjà Donné Company and collaborates with the National Dance Foundation / Aterballetto.

Giovanni Leone

Born in Borgosesia in 1995, he trained as a dancer at the Susanna Beltrami / Dancehaus academy in the three-year period 2015-2018. He is an interpreter for Esklan Art’s Factory by Erika Silgoner, Mk by Michele di Stefano and for the company Déjà Donné. He has also worked with various choreographers, including Ariella Vidach, Laura Guidetti (Sanpapiè Company), Matteo Bittante and Diego Tortelli.
