Experiential artistic workshop for children 6 – 12 years old

“What can the cycle mean to you?”
“What color are our emotions?”
“How do you imagine yourself after many years?”
An educational/artistic activity that focuses on the cycle of life, from creation to maturity, from seed to decomposition and from birth to old age. Through photographic and sound material of objects, natural materials (fruits, trees, etc.) and familiar sounds, children will come up with the concept of the life cycle of both humans and other living beings on the planet, coloring their emotions. The group will understand the past, observe the future and create in its own present. The three moving levels (low, medium, high) will be an important tool in the physical understanding of the evolution of life. Natural elements (such as the nautilus shell) and elements of everyday life (such as fruits) will help children understand empirically concepts such as evolution, maturation, and decay. Finally, each child will create an artwork with his own cycle of life from infancy until today and will imagine himself in the future. The basic principles of this educational action are cooperation and teamwork, as children will be divided into smaller groups but also the development of the individuality and personal element of each child at various stages of the educational programme. Through different artistic stimuli children will develop their imagination and creativity and through personal and collective experiences they will develop holistically (physically, mentally and emotionally) their artistic means.
