Contemporary dance – Eirini Apostolatou
ARTICULATED DYNAMICS
Contemporary dance workshop
The class will involve strong, complex, technical, and physical sequences, focusing on the details, clarity and articulation. We will work on speed, spacing, falling and jumping as physical actions. Diving in and out of the floor, traveling through it and learning how to use it when we dance, is one big factor which this class will encourage the dancer to be highly physical and playful. Utilizing spatial awareness and sensitivity, we will work with qualities of movement. The sequences and tasks presented throughout the workshop will challenge the individual limitation and invite us to go beyond them.
Ages: Teenagers and adults
Level: –professionals and amateurs– with previous (even short) experience in movement
