font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">The 12<span style=\"color: #87b9bd;\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> International Dance and Performing Arts Festival, Akropoditi DanceFest 2025, has come to a close.<br \/>\nAnother Festival has reached its end! Now well into its second decade, the Festival is maturing\u2014carrying with it experiences that it embraces and transforms into the body of this year&#8217;s edition.<br \/>\n\u201cAge-fully-present\u201d was the theme of this year\u2019s program of workshops and performances, focusing on the marks left by time\u2014those very marks that enrich the body, make it more multifaceted, and ultimately more vibrantly present than ever before.<br \/>\nThis year\u2019s Festival welcomed mature artists as well as artists whose work explored the concept of \u201cmature age\u201d and the broader relationship between age and presence\u2014especially within the realm of performing arts.<br \/>\nWe had the honor of hosting artists from various countries and continents, including Greece, Belgium, Italy, Canada, Switzerland\u2013Brazil, and Spain.<br \/>\nWe would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this year\u2019s activities and events \u2014 To all our invited workshop facilitators and the artists who presented their work,<br \/>\nTo our generous sponsors, who once again helped make the Festival more welcoming,<br \/>\nAnd always, to the people of our team and our invaluable volunteers for their presence and contribution.<br \/>\nWe would also like to warmly thank the Municipality of Syros-Hermoupolis, the Region of South Aegean, and the Ioannis F. font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">The\u00a0<strong>13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0International Dance and Performing Arts Festival Akropoditi DanceFest\u00a0<\/strong>will take place\u00a0<strong>in Syros from July 9 to July 19, 2026!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #87b9bd;\">This year\u2019s festival, titled\u00a0<strong>disabilities\u00a0<em>within<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>gives space and voice to disabled artists, opening a dialogue through artistic theory and practice around the presence, experience, and creativity of disabled people in the performing arts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #87b9bd;\"><strong>Akropoditi DanceFest 2026\u00a0<\/strong>aims to explore and reflect on the inspiration, challenges, inventiveness, and artistic themes of artists, disabled or not, through a series of performances, activities, and educational workshops.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #87b9bd;\">The festival workshops are addressed to professional dancers and students &#8211;
