It has been forever since the first day yet we walk, carrying the weight of the memories our ancestors left. Kings and Queens, beggars and thieves, are masks that we wore to survive the dream. Is the sun burning my face? or it\u2019s just a cold breeze? That cleansing my face from the unforgiving sin. Now the nightmares have gone hearing David&#8217;s song and I can rest into peace. I swear to the bird and I swear to the tree that I won\u2019t stop walking until I find the sea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Omen of F\u00e1risa is a duet that was created for outdoor spaces in the context of the Pilgrims actions. The work follows two characters\u2019 need for connection and contact as they remain constantly in close intimacy. It is inspired by the notion of pilgrimage as a simulation of a journey through life, animals, and natural landscapes. How can two separate trajectories meet and travel together? How can relationships interact and support each other? As apprentices of nature, its animals and indigenous civilisations they create stories from the side of the one who was or still is untamed. \u0399n their creations they propose harmonic relationships between nature and its living beings, while the dreamlike atmosphere which usually wraps their work becomes a conversation between chaos and order. Trying to balance between accessible and pioneer, they support the idea that art is a universal medium of communication which can create a dynamic yet fragile language. Together, they created their first production \u201cUNCIA\u201d, which has been touring internationally, counting more than 55 performances in 11 countries and has received 8 awards around Europe. Later, they created the full evening show \u201cATMA\u201d, which has been touring in Europe, Asia and Latin America and \u201cFree At Last\u201d, which was created under the production house of Theater Rotterdam. In 2021, supported by the Athens &amp; Epidaurus Festival, they created a new version of \u201cFree At Last\u201d &#8211; \u201cFree At Last: Rerooted\u201d which premiered in Athens, Greece. Their latest production &#8220;Valley of the Hummingbirds&#8221; was commissioned by Staatstheater Braunschweig and premiered in Germany in February 2022.
